I've been starting companies for the past 10+ years. I've built 5 companies; 2 were complete failures, and the past 2 successes - with Clarity being my fifth and current startup. Via Clarity and various incubators, I've advised over 1,000+ startups regarding growth hacking, product marketing and fundraising. I'm also ridiculously passionate about helping others succeed in business.
I've been applying the Lean Startup methodology and Customer Development practices to my startups for the past 4 years - essentially since I first heard Eric Ries give his talk at the Web 2.0 conference in 08'. I'm a guest lecturer in Steve Blanks class at Berkeley, and a mentor to his Stanford Lean LaunchPad class. I've also had the pleasure of giving talks around the world on Lean Product Development and Customer Development.

This was a great call!
Dan was calling a plane and was in a high energy mode. He gave me an outside perspective of what he thought I needed. Unfortunately, my problem definition skills were a bit challenged this day and I don't believe I was able to convey the true challenges. I appreciated the effort. Just talked with Dan for an hour. I'd recommend finding a time to do this if you have a company. On this particular call he helped us find a more efficient focus for our time, improved our goal setting structure and gave us a good framework for a more profitable customer acquisition strategy.
